ABOUT LADY PHILLIPS
Lady Phillips is a collection of ladieswear, accessories and homewares made from the vintage European fabrics and Liberty prints found in the Phillips archives.
Each item in the collection is a Melbourne-made piece of history, created from fabric that has travelled from the mills of Europe in the 60s, 70s and 80s to the Phillips Shirts factory in Melbourne.
The ladieswear and accessories collection includes classic vintage inspired dresses and shirts, ladies bow ties and peter pan collars made from an alluring assortment of fabric.
Playful cushions and pretty summer bunting add colour to the home and garden. Made from a beautiful selection of fabric, the colours, patterns and prints in this collection are delicious.
Lady Phillips cushions are pretty on the outside and kind to the earth on the inside, with fluffy inserts made from recycled drink bottles that keep their shape, making them perfect for lounging on.
Bunting can be made to order for the home, garden parties and weddings.
THE LADY LOVES LIBERTY
Liberty London has been producing handcrafted fabrics since opening its doors in 1875.
A reputation for inspired, eclectic design invited collaborations with some of the world’s most celebrated artists: from the Pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabrielle Rossetti and renowned writer and artist William Morris in the nineteenth century, to Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and Hermes in the twentieth century.
Phillips Shirts was the only shirt maker in 1960s and 70s Melbourne using Liberty art prints for the soft collar shirts it had become known for, and continues to create a seasonal line of Liberty shirts today.
The current Lady Phillips collection carries four limited edition vintage Liberty print cushions that add a whisper of old fashioned glamour to favourite spaces.
